As a Fraternal Benefit Society, the CFU operates under a Lodge system, a unique structure that organizes members into geographic units. Lodges are well positioned to conduct fraternal programs and hold events that further strengthen the “common bond” of our members, as well as contribute positively to the communities in which they live. Most Lodges have a corresponding Nest, which represents the Junior Membership in that particular locale.

Lodges have regular monthly meetings and their members are represented at the CFU Quadrennial Conventions, the Supreme governing Body of the Society.

The membership of the Croatian Fraternal Union is currently organized into 215 Lodges and 213 Nests across 30 states and Canada.
